Add IDM Extension with Google Chrome Very Easily

How to Add IDM Extension in Google Chrome
if your Internet download manager doesn’t add automatically with google chrome then you can follow these steps to manually add
1. At first open IDM on your computer or laptop. if you don’t have IDM yet download from – Here
2. Open google chrome and check it updated or not
3. On IDM menu click on Options button
4. Now deselect all your browsers and save, then again select all browsers including google chrome and save the page after that restart your PC
5. Most of the cases IDM extension will appear automatically on chrome you can check on chrome extension settings
6. Open chrome >> click on 3 dot menu >> More tools >> extensions >> toggle on of IDM Extension
IDM extension not showing on Google Chrome
If you checked all methods but still IDM extension not showing on Google chrome then on the last step you can manually drag and drop IDM extension file to google chrome and activate. Remember this method will add IDM extension with chrome but some times it doesn’t work with youtube video downloads.
1. Open Google chrome >> 3 dot menu >> Extensions now keep opening this page
2. Now right click on IDM icon on your PC desktop >> open file location >> select extension file named – IDMGCExt.crx and drag the file into chrome. Google Chrome will automatically enable IDM extension. Enjoy 🙂
